Professional background

A career spanning psychological care, family work and teaching.

I have more than 10 years of professional experience connected to psychology. My background combines healthcare, psychosocial work with families and minors, psychological assessment, university teaching and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

My professional background includes clinical, healthcare and psychosocial work with teenagers, families and adults, alongside support for healthcare professionals and people working in demanding caring settings.

Therapy should not continue without a clear reason. We identify what you need, work honestly and regularly review whether the process is useful.

Who I work with

People and situations at the heart of my practice.

I do not work from pre-set answers. Therapy is adapted to the person, their circumstances and what they need now.

01

Teenagers and families

Support with anxiety, self-esteem, academic pressure, family conflict and other challenges that can come with adolescence, involving the family when helpful.

02

Young adults and adults

Support with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional blocks and difficulties affecting everyday life.

03

Professionals under pressure

Particular experience supporting healthcare and caring professionals facing overload, burnout, emotional exhaustion and difficulty switching off.

How I understand therapy

Professional rigour without losing the human connection.

My approach is primarily cognitive behavioural. I draw on other approaches when they may be useful, particularly in work with teenagers, families and relationship dynamics.

01

Warmth

A safe, non-judgemental relationship where you can speak openly.

02

Clinical honesty

Clear communication about what we can work on and when another service may suit you better.

03

Practical value

Goals, useful tools and regular reviews of whether therapy is helping.
