Pulso en Cauce

Listen to what is happening. Find a way forward.

The course is about understanding it, making sense of it and finding a direction that feels like your own.

How I work

Warmth, honesty and clear goals.

My approach is primarily cognitive behavioural, while drawing on other approaches when they are useful, particularly when working with teenagers, families and relationship dynamics.

“Therapy is not about telling you which way to go. It is about helping you understand where you are and what direction makes sense for you.”
  1. 01

    Understand

We put words and context around what is happening, without judgement or pre-packaged answers.

  2. 02

    Find direction

Together, we define what you need and what would make the work meaningful for you.

  3. 03

    Work on it

We introduce tools, decisions and changes that you can bring into everyday life.

  4. 04

    Review

We regularly check whether therapy is useful and adjust the work whenever needed.

Online therapy in English

Video sessions offer greater flexibility while maintaining continuity, with sessions available in English and Spanish.

03

Flexible

Hybrid format

Alternate between in-person and online sessions when this is appropriate for you and for the therapeutic work.

Therapy in English

Speak in the language that helps you explain what matters.

Sessions can be held entirely in English, entirely in Spanish or using both languages. You do not need perfect English: therapy is not a language test, and clarity matters more than fluency.

Online therapy in English may also be considered when you live outside Spain. Before starting, we will check your location, privacy, clinical suitability, the professional conditions that apply and access to local healthcare or emergency support.

Frequently asked questions

Before starting therapy in English.

Clear answers to help you decide whether this practice is the right fit for you.

01Are sessions available in English?

Yes. Sessions are available in English and Spanish, in person in Córdoba, online or in a hybrid format.

02Can I connect from another country?

This may be considered individually. Before starting, we will review your location, privacy, clinical suitability, the professional conditions that apply and the healthcare or emergency resources available where you live.

03Who is this psychology practice for?

I mainly work with teenagers, young adults and adults, as well as families and healthcare professionals or people working in other demanding caring roles.

04Do you work with anxiety and depression?

I work with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional blocks, academic pressure, family conflict, work-related stress, overload and burnout. Before starting, we will consider whether this practice is the right level of support for you. If a different professional or specialist service would be more appropriate, I will explain this clearly.

05Can I seek help for anxiety without a diagnosis?

Yes. You do not need a diagnosis or a perfect explanation of what is happening. We can assess worry, physical symptoms, avoidance and the impact on everyday life, then consider what kind of support is appropriate.

06Do you work with work stress and burnout in healthcare professionals?

Yes. I have experience supporting healthcare professionals and people in other high-pressure roles with work-related anxiety, overload, emotional exhaustion and difficulty switching off.

07Can I combine online and in-person sessions?

Yes. Sessions can take place in person in Córdoba, online, or through a combination of both when this is appropriate for the work and your circumstances.

08What happens during the free first session?

It is a brief introductory meeting at no cost. You can explain what brings you here, ask questions and understand how I work before deciding whether you would like to continue. There is no commitment to begin therapy.

09What if I do not feel comfortable or therapy does not feel right for me?

Not every psychologist is the right fit for every person, and that is completely normal. You can raise this openly and without judgement. We will review what you need, and if a different approach or professional would suit you better, I will help you identify the right next step.
